Bahco BELMS12 Surge Protector 12V

Application: Protects the vehicle from any electric peak / circuit generated in the car while welding, battery charging, etc. It clips across the 12V battery terminals to absorb voltage surges. Voltage surges that cannot be absorbed through the battery can cause damage during jump starts, welding and work on the vehicle electronics
It is simple to use and features LEDs that indicate correct function
Green LED, after clamping on the battery: ready to use
Red LED, after clamping: not correct fitment to the polarity of the battery (reversed)
Red LED plus sound alarm: the surge protector is damaged and should no longer be used
