  • Installation Engineer | Location: UK | Salary: Dependent on experience

    The Role

    The job involves working on various projects nationwide, as part of a team installing Garage equipment into new and existing Motor vehicle workshops.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Installation of garage equipment products including Vehicle Lifts, Brake Testers, Oil Dispensing Equipment, Exhaust Extraction Systems, Compressed Air etc.
    • Carry out diagnostic / repair of a wide range garage equipment.
    • Commissioning of installed equipment.
    • Completion and submission of accurate paperwork.
    • Compliance to laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.

    Person Specification

    • Good working knowledge and experience of the installation / engineering environment.
    • Experience in the installation of general garage equipment or pipefitting would be beneficial.
    • Works well within a team of other engineers and Project Management.
    • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
    • Posses’ good communication skills.
    • Full UK driving license is required.
    • Due to the nature of the work a certain amount of time is spent away from home –an allowance is paid to cover the overnight stays.

  • Field Service Engineer | Location: Scotland / Midlands / South / North | Salary: Dependent upon experience

    The Role

    The role will involve a dynamic mix of both preventative maintenance / calibrations and breakdowns on various garage equipment including Vehicle Lifts, Compressors and MOT Equipment. Responsibilities include:

      • Planned maintenance & repairs of a wide range of garage equipment.
      • Servicing & repairing equipment on a call out basis.
      • Completion and submission of necessary paperwork accurately & in a timely fashion.
      • Compliance to laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.
      • Liaising with Service Controllers.
      • Ensuring van is effectively stocked.

    Person Specification

        • Good working knowledge and experience of the Mechanical Engineering environment, including Hydraulics and Pneumatics and a good understanding of Electrics.
        • Experience in Servicing / Repairs of Garage Equipment or a background in Plant Maintenance or similar would be advantageous as would present or past GEA accreditation.
        • Works well within a team of other engineers and Service Controllers.
        • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
        • Posses’ good communication skills.
        • Full UK driving license is required.
        • Prepared for overnight stays from home if required.
